Clover is a finalist for the 2021 Rone Award for Best YA Book!

I am beyond thrilled to be sharing this exciting news with all of you. As recently as four years ago, if somebody would have told me that I’d one day write a novel, I would have totally chalked the notion up to fantasy and wishful thinking. Fast forward to 2021 and my debut novel, Clover, is being recognized by peers and readers for such a notable award. My hopeful little heart is exploding.

Each year InD’tale Magazine honors the very best books in the Indie and Small publishing industry by awarding the prestigious RONE award.  To achieve this award, a book must go through a comprehensive process with three distinct areas of focus. First, the books are read by reviewers at InD’tale Magazine and the novels that receive 4.5 and 5 stars reviews are entered as nominees for the Rone Awards. Then, fans and readers get to vote for their favorites. The books that make it to the finals are then judged by industry professionals on criteria such as characterization, overall arc, editing, etc. All awards are then announced at the annual RONE award gala event.

I know now that the most rewarding part of the writing process is having your work read and appreciated by readers. I am incredibly grateful for the privilige. Huge congratulations to all the other Rone Award finalists! Hip Hip Hooray and best of luck to us all! =)
